Meet the heart and hands behind Hudson Homeworks, Dillon and Michele
Hudson Homeworks was born from a lifelong appreciation for design, craftsmanship, and the stories furniture carries with it.
After years of working as a therapist in private practice, Michele found herself ready for a change. While restoring and furnishing the couple's 1909 Craftsman home, she discovered a passion for antique and secondhand furniture. Drawn to the character, quality, and history that newer pieces often lack, she became passionate about the art of restoring furniture and preserving its unique story.
What began as sourcing and restoring pieces for her own home soon evolved into helping others see the potential in furniture that might otherwise be overlooked. Through years of hands-on learning, refining her craft, and sharing her work on social media, Michele built a loyal following and eventually opened a storefront known as Resale Therapy.
As demand for restoration, refinishing, and custom furniture work continued to grow, Michele made the leap to pursue furniture restoration full-time. Together, Michele and Dillon transformed their Sequoyah Hills workshop and retail store into Hudson Homeworks, a dedicated studio where craftsmanship, creativity, and preservation remain at the center of everything they do.

Today, Hudson Homeworks specializes in furniture restoration, refinishing, upholstery, and repair services. We believe that well-made furniture deserves more than replacement, it deserves the opportunity to be restored, reimagined, and enjoyed for generations to come. Whether preserving the historical integrity of an antique heirloom or creating a completely custom finish for a contemporary piece, our approach is rooted in respect for quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

Every piece receives hands-on attention, refined techniques, and a tailored approach that honors its character while elevating its beauty and function.
