Frequently Asked Questions
What types of furniture do you work on?
We work on a wide range of pieces including upholstered furniture, wood furniture, antique pieces, dining sets, dressers, chairs, and custom headboards. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to take a look.
Can I provide my own fabric?
Absolutely! We welcome customer owned materials (COM), provided it is appropriate for the piece, and enough material is supplied to complete the project. Yardage requirements may increase based on pattern matching, welting, or custom details. We are happy to help review your fabric choice before your project begins to ensure alignment and accuracy.
What makes your process different?
True craftsmanship cannot be rushed. Every piece that enters our workshop is carefully evaluated, restored, and refined with patience, skill, and a deep respect for its character. Our goal is not simply to transform furniture for today, but to create enduring pieces that will be treasured for years to come.
How do I get an estimate?
Getting started is easy. Simply give us a call or fill out our contact form. We may request photos of the piece(s) that you are looking to transform, or ask additional questions about condition, vision, or scope of work so that we can provide the most accurate pricing to you. The more information we have, the better.
What condition does my furniture need to be in?
We can work with pieces in a wide range of conditions—from lightly worn to heavily damaged. Even if a piece looks beyond repair, it may still have restoration potential.
Can you help me come up with ideas for my piece?
Yes, of course. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can help guide you through options for style, fabric, finish, and design direction based on your piece and your space.
What kind of timeline am I looking at for my project?
Every piece we work on is unique, and timelines vary depending on the scope of work, materials selected, and the level of restoration required. Once we evaluate your project, we will provide a personalized timeline and keep you informed throughout the process.
How does delivery and pick up work?
We offer flexible options to make the process as seamless as possible. Clients may choose to bring their furniture to our workshop, or take advantage of our white-glove pickup and delivery service for added convenience. This service is available for an additional fee and includes careful handling and transportation of your piece.
How do I know what type of work my piece needs?
That’s what we are here for. Once we review your piece, we carefully assess its condition, structure, and materials, then walk you through exactly what we recommend and why. We’ll explain the options clearly so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
